Optical bleach ОВ-1 (OBA 393) – is a highly concentrated fluorescent brightener. To be used as an optical bleach for polystyrene, nylon, polypropylene, polycarbonate, and other thermoplastics.

Analogues: Fluorescent Brightener OB-1, Uvitex OB-1, Uvitex ERT, Eastobrite OB-1, Whitex XNK, TechnoLux OB-1

Properties:

• effectively eliminates yellowness
• has high heat resistance
• used to add brightness
• makes a lighting effect with a blue tint and high light resistance

Application method

The most common way of using OB-1 is its preliminary dissolution and subsequent mixing with the main composition at the final stage of paint preparation.

For water-bearing coatings, it is necessary to pre-introduce the additive into the appropriate solvent and add the resulting solution to the film-forming agent before mixing with water.
